Hello everyone, I'm Adrian Ayub and I'm running for Cerritos City Council in the upcoming March 4th Election.

I'm a 28 year old lifetime resident of Cerritos, a product of the ABC School District, and serial entrepreneur. I am an American through and through, but proud of my lebanese-mexican heritage. I am a Christian, and I am running for Faith, Family, and Future.

My parents met at Gahr High School which I attended before graduating from Cerritos High School. I followed in my father's footsteps into Real Estate after working in insurance at an office on Gridley.

I dedicated my early twenties to personal development and acquiring mentors, starting two companies for real estate investing and fund recovery at my offices on Studebaker Rd. I provided employment to minorities and young people I knew from high school almost exclusively. I knew what it was like to weather the storm of Covid. Even though I am a newcomer to Public Service, I have inspired and instructed many to achieve success in the private sector.

I am president of the Cerritos Real Estate Investment Association as well as a Rancho Southeast  

Sports have been a important part of my life. I have been on the wrestling teams at Cerritos High School and Cerritos College, where I am proud to have achieved a 3.8 GPA and earned a Dean's List designation. I won a world championship in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as regional Judo championships, but I am more excited to fight for a brighter future for Cerritos.

I am a Rotarian, Toastmaster, Knight of Columbus, and am set to join Friends of the First C.E.B as well as the Optimist Club showing I have dedicated my life to service to others.

My first priority as a public servant would be on our resident's safety by prioritizing resources for law enforcement, and neighborhood programs.

My second priority would be on economic revitalization by supporting local businesses, attracting new investments, and creating job opportunities to strengthen our local economy. 

A robust economy means more resources for public services and a higher standard of living for all residents.

My third priority would be on transparency and bringing the people back into politics. It needs to be of the people, by the people, for the people, not by the government or committees.

Other priorities of course would include housing solutions that strike a balance between affordability and preserving the suburban essence that makes Cerritos so great. As an entrepreneur and Realtor, I would bring my insights and work with the other council members on this important matter, putting politics to the side.

I want to thank all of my family, friends, and neighbors for their support and love throughout the years, and I am excited to embark on this path.
